The award winning Atlanta Brewing Company has been making beers under the Red Brick name since 1994, making it the oldest operational craft brewery in Georgia. In late 2005, longtime ABC Brewmaster Dave McClure welcomed new ownership and management to the brewery. Since that time, Red Brick beers have won numerous awards, including Gold Medals at the Great American Beer Festival and The World Beer Cup. Our brewhouse is a 50 barrel system with 850 barrels of fermentation.
Red Brick Ale, an English style brown ale, was the first beer brewed by ABC and remains its flagship brand; it is available year round, as are Peachtree Pale Ale and Red Brick Blonde. New to the year round line up for fall of 2008 is a high gravity Double Chocolate, Oatmeal Porter. ABC currently offers a traditional, German-style Hefeweizen in the summer months, and the new Winter Seasonal for 2008-2009 is a Belgian style strong ale. In 2007, a traditional German style Oktoberfest was introduced for the first time as the Autumn Seasonal. In February 2008, Helles Bock lager was released as a Spring Seasonal for the first time.
